Hello,

I'm going to install 2x AC-Win IP V2 on a customer. The Hipath part I'm confortable. However, in terms of licensing, I have the license file retreived from CLS. Do I have to install CLM and CLA on the customer's network?

If yes, can I install CLM and CLA on the same PC's running ACWin?
Or can't I put the license file somewhere in the PC that when AC-Win starts, checks the file?

Thanks...

CLA is mandatory. CLM is NOT mandatory. After installing CLA on the same server as AC Win IP, locate the folder: Program Files > Licensing > License Agent > Import. Paste the license file into this "Import" folder. Within seconds, the license will be imported, and AC Win IP is licensed. The license can then be seen in that same path, but instead of the "Import" folder, open the "License" folder to see the license.

Good Luck!

Thank you very much!

I made a test and installed the software on my PC, and tried to import the license file, and it seems to have worked. I mean, at least it tried to activate the license but I saw in the log file that the Locking ID didn't match :)

Just to confirm, in the CLS I activated the licenses associating them to the customer's PC's MAC Address. That is correct, right?

Thanks...
