I'm trying to figure out how to set up Absent Text options on the 5410 and 4610 phones. It appears by default under the ProgA option (second level menu, second page on 64xx).

I don't want to have separate buttons / shortcodes for different reasons, just want a single key either to allow the user to select the appropriate reason.

Can't figure out how to get the second level menus that appear on 64xx series onto other models, is it possible?

It is not an option in the menu for DS phones
You need to use shortcodes for this or make a separate button
But with a 54 or 46/5610 you have at least 9 free buttons to program

That's OK, but can I use a single button for setting different absent text?

I am not sure
I only tried it once with shortcodes
Give it a shot and let me now :)

Tried with a single button administered, with no Action Data and it didn't work. Expected to be able to set the action data on a per call basis, but no luck.

Then you need Phonemanager to do this
I can not find if you can do this with phonemanager lite so i guess you can :)

They just need to press F6 and set the text they need
