Absent feature within Phone Manager 1

Phone Manager LITE Version 2.1.8

Problem.

When user set absent message all forwarding settings are lost.

Follow me settings are retained.


Happened on version 2.1.7 as well. Was told Version 2.1.8 would fix this. Obviously not.

Luckily only 10 of my 180 user system use this feature,but they are becoming more and more frustrated.

this is not the only bug "fixed" in 2.1.8 that is still present.

V2.1.10 may resolve the problem if you can get it

It does fix the problem of preferences taking the user out of group

there's a 2.1.10 out? Oooohhh time to check the ftp site again

It is not on the FTP site, Our 1st line support had this version BEFORE V2.1.8 was placed on G.A.

Thanks for the information. I have asked our support company to obtain the version listed.

Out of interest I found that if you set the ABSENT message first,then the forwarding options everything works fine.

Forwarding then ABSENT screws up.
