Hi Guys
I tried out *23*1# and the phone showed the string that was correct for that one, and the divert light came on to go to voice mail. when I dialed the extension the call was answered automaticlly & showed the message on the screen but did not divert.Is this correct?
Also how many characters can be in the message?
I don't have on board Voice mail but rely on Repartee.
I would like it to show the message then go to voice mail.
Any ideas

I do not understand. What for a screen? If call is automatically answered from Voicemail, then the diversion did take place. Where is the problem?

To make it clearer I put *23*x# into the phone that I wished to givert Where x = (1-9) the correct message came up on the screen of the phone and the divert light came on. Then when I dialed that number from another phone I could see the message on the screen of that phone but the call did not then go to voice mail so I could not leave a message for that person if I wanted to and if the caller did not have a phone with a screen all they got was a call that was answered but nothing else?

If its correctly setup you shoul be able to push the "star sign" * and get diverted to your vm.
If the caller don't have a phone with a screen, the caller will be diverted to the VM.

Hi, when calling from a DTS to a abcense extension you always get the information in the display and get the possibility to call the message diversion place by the STRNO ICS10 ( KSTSC ), when calling from analog extension you will be diverted immediately to the message diversion place.
