Abrv-Dial Btns Not working on 7444D

I have a 7444D telephone connected to an Avaya G3R.

I programmed some of the buttons for busy-ind and some for abrv-dial.

My busy-ind buttons work great, but I cannot get the abrv-dial buttons to work. A display station xxx shows the abrv-dial buttons were accepted, but when I attempt to program a number at the set, I get a reorder type tone.

I have a second 7444D working on this system with abrv-dial buttons that are working just fine.

Any ideas?
