Now I am in charge of a ISP email server. Those days I face
with a very strange problem:
One user can send email but cannot receive his email using MS outlook .When he receive email, the error come up with:to
check if you have enough memory or hard disk space . But there are enough memory&disk space .
When I mailx -u useraccount in my mail server, last time I
found someone send a too large E-card for him. When I just deleted this thread email , he can't either get his email until I delete all the thread emails in his mail account .
The user mail volume is 2Mbytes. Sendmail version:8.9.2
Solaris 2.5.1 . The using storage percent of /mail fs on my mail server is 80% . A little large burden.
Today, he hit the problem again . But when I check his email account I don't find anymore large file . It is less than 1Mbytes.
Why does such problem come again while receiving mail ? Should I need to delete all his email files again ?

BTW, because of fast developing users ,most times we have no more than 10% email-storage left on my email FS .So I have to delete the large ROOT mail oftenly .
