About tomcat not working in vista for my own examples
i am unable to use tomcat in vista,it is running and executing the default examples,but it is not executing the my created examples it is giving the error that the file is not found.Please give me a solution for this problem




tomcat version is 5.5 jdk version is jdk6.0




 
I have been advised to do the following:
- turn off user accounts control
- open a command prompt as administrator, to install tomcat.
-create your new application directory structure using the command prompt as administrator.

I am told it works

Tomcat Not working with vista and in Eclipse

About tomcat not working in vista and in ECLIPSE i am unable to use tomcat in vista,it is running and executing the default examples,but it is not executing the created applications it is giving the error that the file is not found.
The same problem i am facing through ECLIPSE IDE When i try to connect the server it is a error saying that the file not found.
I have extracted the Tomcat zip file from the apache.org site and i have set all the paths.The server is running in the selected port but when i try to excute any web aplications i created are not executing saying that the file is not found.

tomcat version is 6.0.10 and Java version is jdk6.0

Please read this problem ad suggest me a solution
