I want to backup my applications prior to installing Panther, but I am not sure what to do. Obviously if I have the CD I do not need to worry, but some were downloaded [legally paid for] so what do I do As there seem to be several parts to each app. I am not sure where to start.
Can anyone give me advice please.
TIA

You should be able to carry out downloads from the sites you originally purchased the software from, then use your existing serial numbers to re-install.

If you are unable to download. Simply contact the supplier and requested another download after explaining why...99% of them are very happy to do this.

Note: I tend to keep a back up of the original .dmg file on server just for this purpose.
