Hi,

Could u please tell me that sequences are supported in which version of IBM DB2.

Right now IBM DB2 Universal Database Version - 7 is installed in my machine.

Is Sequences supported in this version or not??

Please respond me immediately,

Hey Stephenraj,

Which fixpaks you have installed on your DB2?

At this moment I´m running DB2 V7.2 Fixpak 7, and the sequence feature is enabled for me. I guess the earlier versions of DB2 7 does not enable the use of Sequences. Take a look at the fixpaks and see if you have any installed and then, at the Ibm.com site d/l the correct fixpak. But my guess is that Sequences were "included" on fixpak 3 (which would be the changing of Versions from 7.1 to 7.2).

The page for the fixpaks is:

Just choose the correct version of your DB2 (on your case, V7).

Fernando

Sequences were introduced in V7.2 (or V7 FP3) .. But I remember that a number of problems in Sequences was fixed in FP4 ... Please check the APAR List for details
