Hi
I want to run the the Microsoft bank sample in order to understand how to program components (COM+ services Sample), but here are the envirnment requirements for it

Windows server 2000
ADO 2.5 or later
SQL server 7.0 or later
Visual Basic 6.0 with service Pack .0 or later

1) Do you think that i can run the sample on a Windows 2003 Server with SQL server 2000 envirnment?
2) is the ADO2.5 installed by default with Win2003 Server

Thank you

I think you can run the program with your environment.

If Windows XP ships w/ MDAC 2.7, I think Windows Server 2003 have installed greater version of MDAC.

Where you get that bank sample? Im also interested in it, can you post the link? :)

Thank you, i have run the example on both XP and MS Server 2003 but i was obliged to install Visual Basic 6.0 for that.

If you want to run the example of the bank, here is the link:
c:\program files\ Microsoft visual studio .NET 2003\sdv\v1.1\samples\technologies\interop\Applications\ComServices\readme.htm

If you face any problem, i am here to solve it :)
