About softphone for BCM50

I wanna know if I need a license to use softphones in BCM50 system release 2.0.
I don't have any license for ip sets so I wanna know if I can do that without license.

Negative. You need a license. You can have more than 1 i2050 registered at a time, but only one in use at a time.
