Hi..

I want to know about SOAP....

As i was going through the an article, I found some thing interesting (ofcourse I never understood it properly)which was telling that SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocal) is an alternate (competator) for RPC/Other protocal. Introduction of SOAP may disturb all Distributed Technology that are available in the market since they uses RPS, IIOP etc as there protocals (ofcourse DCOM uses RPC protocal). So what is future of Distributed Technologies? Or else still we can use this (SOAP) protocal? Doubt clearence and Information about SOAP is appreciable....

Not sure about it's relevance to this DCOM forum, but there is a good write-up explaining SOAP at <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> with some links too.

Click on "S" at the top of the page and it is sorted by alpha.

Hope this helps.

Ghost
