This is new one for me. I had a problem with a test server when I reload the server it would not ping. I had typed the IP in wrong. I fixed it and now it will ping anything on the 192.168.111.x net work but when I try to ping the internet zip nada.

Though it was the firewall so I opened ever port. does not help.

I have one system on the same network and it will allow me to ping to the internet IPs

Why would this happen??

Hi,

Sounds like you do not have a Default Gateway configured on the server. Go to Inetcfg and add a Default gateway. This should be the router's inside address.
