about installing linux redhat9 question thanks

hi

i insert redhat 9 cd into cdrom. in gernal case, it will display many item in loading and will also display "ok" in right side then it enter the installation screen.

however my brohter's computer just display one sentence:Imcompressing linux...Ok booting the kernel.i wait for a long time. the screen still display this sentence...

i tried to install redhat9 in my computer then i moved the hd to my brother's computer.the screen just display "no input screen"...
i dont know what happen why not to install...

Perhaps a Hw incompatibility?
