Please pardon my igonance on this subject, I've only been working with AIX for a few weeks. In smit chgsys there's the parameter for high water mark for pending write i/o's. Does this parameter apply to files being written to tape as well as disk?

Thank you,
Fred

Hello,
leave them Zero.(0).

Do not change them.

I KNOW all the folks that have taken HACMP class are told in the class to change this value.

But it is negative effect.
