About Fonts

i rececently visited an arabic website, without downloading any fonts i was able to view the site, is it because certain fonts are inbuilt in IE???

also is this got anything to do with the "Encoding" that appears on a right click???

i think most fonts are installed with winXP and MSoffice.
arabic, simplified chinese, japanese, korean, etc.

I learned a bit yesterday, today i learned a lot, imagine what i'll learn tomorrow!

so thats it, i wracked my brains thinking there might be some kind of coding.

i had to use coding for "Hindi" lanuguage.
