Hi
I was just thinking, what would I get after I pass the CCNA or CCNP exam. I mean is it only a certificate or they will give me some(card for my wallet, or some other thing), because I remember when I passed the lpic exam I got a card for my wallet, then they said I can use the LPIC logo in my resume.
So, I was just wondering.
Thanks

Same for CCNA and CCNP. CCNA=2 tests (or one composite), and CCNP=4 tests.

isahak,

Yes - you will get a card for your wallet, a certificate to hang on the wall and the rights to use the logo on your card or stationary -

Only thing you do not get is a super decoder ring :-)

Once your Cisco Certified, dont they give your company a discount to their products?

Also, does anyone know if your access improves once your certified?

Thanks,

Brady

Your access to Cisco stuff does not improve, unless you become a CCIE. Then it is limitless.
A company does not get a discount just because someone is certified...there are benefits to becoming a Cisco partner, and the requirements vary, depending on what level partner a company wants to be---requirements as far as how many personnel in the particular company are Cisco certified.
If one goes through Cisco Academy, there is the benefit of having a lifetime forum/alumni connection login...

You do get a nice discount at ciscopress.com when you become a ccna. You also are able to generate links for people to verify your certification.
