about:blank shows advertising

Having a few problems with the about:blank page showing advertising on it and it resetting itself as the default homepage. I've run SpyBot, CWShredder, HijackThis, PestPetrol and Adaware and it sorts the problem out for a little bit but then the problem comes back. I've turned off the system restore but that didnt help. Any suggestions are welcome.

What OS? If you are using XP or have the W2K resource disk, you can try MSCONFIG to see what is running and stop it.
