Here is an issue
I have using informatica data is routed into four streams, each stream of data is put into a different database table.
Before data is added into the database table, for each stream I would like to do some validations, if any stream fail a validation I would like to abort the entire session. Before aborting the session I would like to put the error data to an error table can I do this.
Another issue is I if the data is routed into different streams is the data flow parallel. If I try to abort the session from any of the streams will this stop any data inserts from other sterams.

Can you confirm that the streams are all in the same mapping. If so the abort function should kill the mapping.

Try putting the streams into separate mappings.

If you want data failed data to enter another "error" table, try using a router. If a record fails validation flag a variable as such and use it as an input to the router. Depending on the value it holds you can route the either the target table or the "error" table

Hope this helps

cheers
