Able to recompile Stored Procedure while others in system?

We have about 30 companies, and getting everyone out of Great Plains can be a real issue.

I have been advised that we need to recreate the stored procedure LoadSUTATempTableD... would it be a high risk for us to do this while others are in the system?

I can't see a problem doing it while the system is live, just don't use the Payroll module until you are done.
