I have a G3 in three different locations.
Each location has a 1,000 unique DID, 3xxx,6xxx and 8xxx.

Right now I use UDP AARCode and my Long distance carrier to route the call to the other offices. I want the switch to prepend the extensions with a fully qualified number i.e. instead of 2223xxx, with a 12125553xxx, or 011443355556xxxx for the International offices. I would still put it on the same trunk group (88).

In essence not have to rely on the "routing service" of the LD carrier(s).

How would I go about it? THANKS!

I'm sorry are you looking to insert digits to what is dialed to complete the string? If so you would do this in route (88)

Thanks All Phoneman2

I actually figured it out, kinda... Thank you.

One last question on this - how is the decision made if a call should be routed through AAR first or ARS first?

I am a bit still foggy on how the call is routed within the switch...

Thanks!

Depends on which digit you assign the FAC in the dialplan. I access AAR with an 8 and ARS with a 9

Hope that helps
