AAU and tncom 1

Hi there,

I have found an old AAU card and have configured it for IP. I have trouble when using tncom mml though.

I initiate the tncom and get the correct prompt from the Md110, but when I put in the username I get FAULTY INPUT DATA and it asks again for username. I cannot see why this is happening.

Does anyone remember enough about the AAU to help me? I hope so!!

don't know if you can hookup a NIU with AAU, as you can have telnet directly on the NIU (defeats it's purpose). try with an IPU instead.

The purpose is for me to be able to get the lads in the office to swap hardware and for me to begin building the system from INL remotely. I was hoping it would be the same v.24 connection so I can run Limdisp etc and then configure the correct ethernet port on the NIU without me having to be in the office.

It works fine with NIU1 and NIU2 -has to for EVM to work!
I have a site with 30 + AAU and NIU2
