AAstra phone red light message

There is a message waiting switch on the phone.
If no message waiting is required put the switch to the STD position.
If message waiting is required and no message is waiting but light is on then change the MW switch position between MW+ and MW-.
From the manual-
"• STD. This setting should be used when no Message Waiting
indication is required. This is also the default setting upon
delivery.
• MW+. Use this position when Message Waiting indication is
required and the line cabling is straight.
• MW-. Use this position when Message Waiting indication is
required and the line cabling is twisted.
