Hi All

A friend complains that using this handset (DT390) below zero degrees Centigrade gives problems. Can this really be true??

I think when it is very below zero they can make problems.
I have a customer who wanted to use them in a cold store where the temperature
is -20 degres and they had problems with it.

I think LCD displays and minus temperatures are not a good idea...

Do Aastra have some DECT handset that can deal with low temperaturer, then?

according the datasheets DT390 is working till 0 degres and DT413/23/33 till -10 degres
but I have no experience with DT413 and minus degres.

Maybe you can use a cable headset and when the number is dialled put the phone into
a pocket near the body.

Other option is to emigrate to a warmer country but then you can get problems with 4223 displays [rednose]

Thanks. The users work in a big warehouse with freezsers, so I will show them the 412 type.
