The Aastra (Nortel styled) 9116LP says its PBX line powered at 22v, does that mean it won't work on a standard analog PBX or POTS analog line on a switch such as a DMS100 or Lucent ESS switch?

Reading the data sheet on the phone type it is just an analog phone so it will work with any analog service, centrex, PBX, or standard telephone service. It comes with a 9V DC power supply so you can use that if need be.

Ahhhhh I see.....so I assume if its on a shared line without DC adapter, small stuff like MSG WTG light and Feature Light won't work, but maybe the CLID display will still work? The phone doesnt need the red MSG light to work....just needs to be able to make and receive calls and accept CLID. Thank you for your response!
