Already today I have hundreds of messages in 'deferred' column.

Here are my General Options in IMAP/SMTP settings:

Internet Messaging: General Options and Settings

Maximum number of INCOMING SMTP sessions: 24
Maximum number of OUTGOING SMTP sessions: 30

Can I adjust anything to get the email notifications out sooner, or with a higher priority?
Sorry the paste didn't format the columns correctly.

Thanks again

If the link to the SMTP relay server is up and properly working AAM pretty much just queues the traffic up and sends it as quick as it can over the outgoing sessions. One session gets full, it establishes another one, and so on to the configured limit. The SMTP service on AAM doesn't leave a lot of room for configuration since it (mostly) uses the native SMTP service of the OS. Is your email server team throttling the connections and possibly only allowing a single one? With that many voicemails getting sent each hour you must have a decent sized operation and maybe they don't realize that there really are that many legitimately coming through. Look at the IMAP/SMTP status page and see how many sessions it is actually using at any one time. If it has them all pegged up and you are still deferring sending you might need more sessions configured (but I doubt that's actually the limiting factor).

Not a very large site, but sometimes VERY busy. Does this show an SMTP blockage?

Curious when that AAM server was last rebooted.

But you need to get with the email server folks to take a look at what they are getting.

Booted October 2019 with a forklift upgrade of AAM, CM, SM, AES as v/m's on System Manager.

Getting with SMTP folks soon. Will post back what's found.

Thank you.
