When I try to login with the "admin" login ID to the AAM 6.3 MSS I get this error: "User does not have permission to access the web interface"

Yet there is no "admin" login in the list of administrator accounts. It must be some kind of system login but how can we set permissions to this login? Thank you.

Is this on System Platform? If so, it is looking at the LDAP connection back to VSP to authenticate.

Hi randycarroll. Thanks for the reply. I'm ashamed to admit that I don't know where or how to find or fix that. Is it something perhaps that is easy to explain on here? Or point me in the right direction please? Thanks much.

The System Platform is the server that's host your virtual AAM template.
(That's if its setup that way), most likely it is.....

If so you would have to log into the system platform and go to user accounts and set the admin account with administrative rights.

If you are still unsure, what ever server the AAM is residing on, the system platform is there as well. The system platform is like a virtual server and AAM is a client off of it. If you dont know the IP address then you would physically have to go to the server. There are other ways to find out but this is as simple as i can think of.
