AA Not answering on NAM

I have a MICS 5.0 with PRI and a NAM 4.0 . The AA won't answer, it end up going in to Gen. delivery mailbox. It's set up to answer the lines. Installed the MICS 5 Mailbox Answer patch, and got the 2 beep after installed. The AA is still not answering. Thank.

Try logging into F983 and press 4 and see if it has Vmail as No.

Sounds like you may have the attendant phone forwarded to the voicemail DN. Remove the forwarding and your AA should answer correctly.

Check under feature 982 that the answer lines is set to yes.

Also check under 983, AA, lines, that you are asigning the correct lines to answer. Remember the system is not answering lines 1-23 or 25-47. You must tell it to answer the correct target line, 145 or 157 or higher.
