Hi Everyone,
We are re-working the way we answer calls at the office.
We wanted to allow callers to dial an extension, then transfer the call to our receptionist if they don't press anything.
My plan was to set up a Greeting Table with a CCR Tree to transfer them to our receptionist.
Without the CCR tree configured in the greeting table, Callers are able to call in, and dial an extension at any time (even while the company greeting is played).
The problem is, once we attach the CCR Tree to the Greeting Table, the ability to dial an extension dissapears. The Greeting Table/AA ignores any key presses and simply directs the caller to the CCR tree. The only excpetion is by pressing #, the company greeting is skipped and the call is taken DIRECTLY to the CCR tree.
Is there any way to do this? or are we going to skip the CCR tree and use the AA (and tell callers to dial an extension, or press 0 for additional assistance).
Thanks
