If you designate an extension as an AA can it still work just like any other non-AA extension? If I call the extension from another extension will it ring to the phone or will the AA answer? Have to do this remotely.

If you set it up as "has a phone", it will ring the phone first, then cover to the attendant.

Thanks TCB. Here's what I did. As a test I took extension 120 which has no user and made it AA 2. Then I called in on 120's DID number and the AA won't pick up. So I set it for no phone and it still won't pick up.

Did you put 120 in the voicemail coverage group (usually 30)? The with/without setting has to do with transfers from the auto attendant to the extension number, and whether or not to attempt to light a MWI

Ah yes, that's it. No remote access to admin, just MM. I know 120 is not in coverage group 30. It's an unused phone in a cubby hole. That is it. I'll fix it on site later. Thank you, sir.
