AA does not play company greeting but default "The person you have called is not available&quot

Hi,

We are having an issue where the AA set to our reception 221 does not play the company greeting but plays the default "The person you have called is not available." It then correctly goes into the CCR we have set. The greeting table seems to be configured properly.

Also, in order to get it to operate like this, we had to turn off the General Delivery Mailbox. Otherwise, it would just go directly to the GDM and not the AA.

We are using NVM 4.1.05.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
 
Be careful with Ring counts on AA/Lines and Capabilities/FNA and non existent mailboxes.

If AA is told to answer lines at 4 rings then a set that has lines as Appear & Ring or Ring only should have the Forward No Answer ring count equal too or greater otherwise the attempt to FNA to a mailbox will beat the AA.
If a set as FNA set to voice mails DN yet there is no mailbox programmed behind that set then you get the "The person you have called is not available" then it transfer to the General Mailbox instead.

So it sounds like you have a little of both going on.
