AA cutting out

I have a customer with an IP403 running VM PRO on a MS Windows XP computer. When calling in the AA gets about half way thru the announcement, stops and then restarts. This is happening more and more often. When the announcement does play all the way, everything works fine (selector codes, etc.)

Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem. I'm not sure what exactly fixed it.

Make sure you are running the latest versions (21 and 14)

Re-record the AA wav

You can also try setting the network card on the Voice Mail Pro PC to 100 half duplex. (This is from Avaya Tech Support, apparently sometimes auto negatiation causes this stuttering but this was not the problem in my case.)

I'll look through my notes for everything else I tried.

Thanks for the info. I had the customer delete all the recordings and re-record the main greeting. There were a couple of false starts, so I had them delete and then record instead of recording over the existing wav file. This seems to have solved the problem. If not, I will try the NIC card.
