Hello,
I have a question for one of the experts out there. I have a merlin legend R7 system with a MLM007. I recently set up an auto-attendent system using day & night menus contolled by the Merlin Legend using both a Night switch and time settings in the phone system.
When the system is in day mode, I have the AA set to delay answering by using another calling group (#771) and overflowing that group to the MLM007 (group 770).
I have the night service configured in the Legend to directly go to group 770 (which answers via AA immediately).
My question to you: Is there a way to slightly delay the Night Service AA (maybe 2-3 rings) AND have the day service delaying a different amount of rings (5-6 rings)?
I think there may be, by setting up another calling group, but I can't figure it out.
I have 4 POTS lines coming in (809, 810, 811, 812). 809-810-811 are all assigned to group 771 (the delay). 812 is a fax line that is assigned directly to 770 (immediate answer - we also use this line the remotely check messages).
I hope this isn't too confusing for you. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Josh Addison
