I have a couple of sites remotely where I had no involvement setting up the AA. How can I determine the current configuration (AAx, greetingx, submenu X) remotely? Can I do it without using the Partner Messaging software?

No, because you need to connect directly to the LAN port, or be on the same network as them. However, you CAN use a modem and Hyperterminal, call into the auto attendant, and dial **3. This will transfer you to an internal modem. Wait for it to connect, and it will prompt you to press enter. Then log in as sysadmin and use the same numeric password as the system administrator's mailbox. From here you will get menus that let you see a configuration report or a mailbox report. Capture this as a text file for later use, and you will be able to see how the AA is setup, what the selector codes are, submenus, announcements, mailboxes and their names and settings, etc.

TouchToneTommy,
