A97: Exporting Linked Pictures

Hello...

My A97 DB is comprised of information about Assets. I also have 2 pictures of each asset stored externally and the path stored in the table.

I have the pictures showing on reports and forms, but when I try and do something like a snapshot view it doesn't work (actually for the assets I have pictures for it doesn't even create the .snp file... When I don't have picts for the asset it creates the .snp file)

Is there anyway to export to Word or Excel and have the picture show up?

hi there--seems a pic doesnt show up in Excel or Word either.

if you have a way to distill files to Acrobat Reader, you can create a .prn file and convert it to .pdf:

Print To File (File-PRINT, select a printer (color or b&w it makes a diff) and check PRINT TO FILE box). then distill/convert this to a .pdf file. i just did it with a photo (.jpg) embedded in a form and it worked fine.
