Ok, I am haveing the exact problem that is stated here.
This article sums up my problems with all the techinical details layed out without me haveing to type 2 pages of it myself. There is no cure to date. I am not the only one having this problem obvoiusly.
Basically when i install the latest raid drivers from asus, nvidia, silicon, windows defualt, or windows update drivers, they all freeze up windows when it is booting up. The bar will cross the screen very slow in a loop forever.
As of right now the raid driver is not installed, and windows will get to just before the logon screen, and sit in a black screen for about 20 minutes, then load into windows and run just fine. The raid is setup correctly, and I supplied the raid driver from western digitals website when I installed xp from the cd.
Thanks for any help,

P.S. this will not be a simple answer. Please understand I have tried everything logical.
