a7n8x delu it looks like sound should play but nothing

a7n8x del has on board sound i have up dated the bios,drivers, directx, and checked the dxdiag.. all seem fine not muted any where..i have boston digital BA735 speakers that work great i plug them in to another pc. i tryed the microsoft help stuff that was no go... im really getting bummed out i bought an a7333 mother board about a year ago and the sound did noit work on that board neither its not looking good please help

those are not the digital version the plug to the usb plug im really have a bummer with this

What do you mean .
USB is digital , the green sound output on the a7n8x is analoque .
If your speakers is not USB connected to a7n8x there are only the analoque output (no digital sound output on a7n8x) , if you don't have the deluxe version ..?

Have you enabled digital sound output in the nforce
speaker setup panel .(it's analoque by default)

mine is connected to the analog out put not the usb the name of my speakers is boston digital ba735, not boston ba735 if there is a diffrence hope this is making sence

yes i have them both enabled because i want to use my earphones on one and the speakers on the other

Must be something with the digital output on the mb then.
I think it's driver related (sound driver).

hey just figured something out when i had these speakers hooked up befor i had it to an audigy 2 sound card well they worked great because the came out of a gateway pc tha had a sound blaster live card in it well i pluged my earphones in to the sspeaker out and it works my head phones i plug the speakers in and they dont work so my speakers must not be compatible with this on board audio i guess if you have any more ideas let me know
