I am getting alot of haning in the GL Batch listing, if i restart the server it sorts it out for a short time, when I view the Event log the following message appears

Hanging application A4WCONTAINERXP.EXE, version 5.4.0.25, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

I am using Accpac 5.4 with SQL database,

1. Which service packs for SM and GL?
2. What version of SQL?

SM = 5.4A (Sage Accpac 500 ERP) (Build 46) (Service Pack 2)
GL = Service Pack 1
SQL = 2005

Good. Now, classic ODBC, or the new Native Driver? You may want to consider deleting all ODBC references, and resetting to the Native.

Another simple thing to try on the GL batch list icon is right-click/Restore Defaults. You may have some bogus finder settings for that UI.

If you actually just delete the existing ODBC DSN and then open Accpac, Accpac will create a new DSN for you with the correct SQL driver (native for SQL2005).
