Im working on a 16 page A4 brochure (4 x a3 folded)

When the a3 paper is folded some overlapping obviously occurs. What is this called?? and how do i set up the crop marks to look after this problem?? or will the printers deal with this??

Saw a programme called Cropster, is this the sort of thing im looking for.

Thanks

Ben

I believe its called "allowing for the creep"

I will add the brochure will be saddle stiched?

Does indesign have an option for "creeping"

thanks

Ben

Just set up your document at the trim size you want it to be.
The Print shop will take care of any creep, because they know how the thing will be folded and allow for it and the machine which does it.
Do not concern yourself with thing like creep, shingle, bottling etc.
all you have to worry about is bleed, if there is any.
