Hello all,

I have got a used A1000 RAID rack and it worked for about 2 days then it stoped to work after a power failure.
I have connected to the serial line on the back to see whats happening.

It starts but ends with some warnings
and then nothing happens.

Send <BREAK> for shell access or baud rate change

.WARN: RPA Memory parity error detected
WARN: Suspending Start-Of-Day Task
...NETWORK ERROR: Unable to access BOOTP server
WARN: NCM Init Failure: Network is not initialized

Do I need to replace the RPA memory or is it a Controller failure ?

There are some little internal batteries that help save the configuarion information. Since it happened after a power failure, they are high on the suspect list. You should probably track down and change those first.

Hope this helps.

The battery is replaced now but the fault remains.
Any more ideas ?
