This is strange I know. Last night three disks crashed in our A1000 all at the same time, thus, as you may have guessed, killed the LUN dead as a doornail. I tried removing and reinserting them a few different times in different slots, sure enough those disks won't come up, although they do spin up.
I replaced the dead drives with other Seagates and have rebuilt the LUN, we are reimporting the data we lost as I type.
Question, do any of you see any issues that may have caused these three IBM drives to go down? Do you think they are really dead? The A1000 is happy now, but do you think there is a problem with the chassis?
Thanks!
Steve
