Hi all,

I have netgear wireless router and was working "not too bad" with my Vaio laptop. One day I had a trip and I took my laptop with me and used the wireless system at the hotel room for about a week and when I came back, a weird situation occured:
Whenever I turn my wireless ON on my laptop at home, it keeps restarting the computer. It is makes it impossible to do anything; just restarts over and over again. This only happens 1) at home with my wireless environment, AND 2) when the computer's wireless button ON.

If I turn my wireless button on my laptop OFF, I can use it fine (of course no internet). Also there is normal operation when I tried it at some other wireless environment (at another hotel room and a friend's house). Only at my home wireless area, when I turn my laptop's wireless button on, it keeps restarting itself.

Any ideas?

Hey,

I would check for virus's and Spyware.
Remove and re-install the drivers for the wireless card.

Let us know if the problem still exists after that.

Also go into your wireless connection and remove any connections listed ie the hotel.
