We have a webhelp help file that has the extention htm
Is there a way to set this file as the help file.

The syntax that foxpro gives to set a help file is:

"SET HELP TO [FileName]
Specifies a Help file that is displayed when you press F1 or issue HELP. You can specify a .Dbf-style Help file, a Winhelp (.Hlp) file, or an HTML (.Chm) help file. "

The extention for the webhelp file is htm.
Foxpro will allow me to set the help file with that extention but when I press F1 I receive a "Not a Table" error.

Any help would be appreciated.

rickesilaw,

The short answer is no. However, you can use the Help Workshop to convert the HTM file to a CHM file, which you can then SET HELP TO.

Alternatively, you could change the extension to HTA, and then ShellExecute() it. That would be the simplest way, but it would just display the file in a simple window, without all the normal Help functionality.
