Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to force line wrapping in css or html. I want a cell to be a maximum of 200px, but sometimes the cell wraps round if a

really_long_word_without_any_sapces_in_it

is put into the cell.

So_for_example_it_would_wrap
here_then_carry_on_with_the
_word_here

Any ideas anyone? Preferably works in FF and IE...

Thanks!

Some other possible alternatives you might consider would be to set the overflow property of the cell to scroll or hidden. While it won't wrap, it will stop the cell growing.

You might also consider giving your table a style of "table-layout:fixed"

Hope this helps,
Dan
