Hi guys.
My friend just came back from Sybase TechWave 2004. He brought with himself a new Sybase book. It is called 'Sybase Transact SQL Programming Guidelines and best practices". It covers up to ASE 12.5.2 with ISBN 0-9759693-0-7 and it is only $45 because Sybase has subsidised it. It is useful both for developers and DBAs. To have a look at its contents go to or book a copy by sending an email to bookings@isosf.com with the title “Priority Book Reservation for ASE Transact SQL”. I think it is a worthwhile investment and the only recent Sybase T-SQL book.
