Has anyone taken the A+ exam in the UK. I've been led to believe that it consists of a single exam of 70 questions. Is this this the case?

Who told you that?

A+,N+,S+,L+,I+,HTI+,e-Biz+,Security+,CETsr,CST,CNST,CNCT,CFOT,CCNT,CCTT,ACSP,ISA CCST3

elgordo1960,

Unless you know something that I don't know, CompTIA states that the A+ exams are standardized as 2 exams of 80 questions each, available in English, Arabic, Dutch, German, Japanese, Korean and Spanish.

I was told by Scheidegger..which is the company that I am doing my A+ and N+ exams through. The person I spoke to seemed pretty insistant that there is only 1 exam.

I guess this answers my question...

The CompTIA A+ certification exam validates the knowledge and abilities of an entry-level technician with the equivalent of 500 hours of hands-on experience in the field or lab. There are two exams in the current A+ certification program:

* A+ Core Hardware exam
* A+ OS Technologies exam

...This is from a UK based training company.

At least now it's clear to me!

elgordo1960,

That sounds pretty consistent with what CompTIA has on their website: 2 exams, 80 questions each. It sounds like your contact is misinformed.

I became A+ Certified in the UK just after Christmas. It's definately two exams.
