Hi,

I had a DirectV system installed last week. Since my house had only one coax availble for tech to use, he wire the dual LMB to the single cable using a "new" swicth. The swicth allows my HD DVR to recive SAT1 and SAT2 singnals on a single cable. This is working fine for all of my HR22 receivers. However, the tech told me that my DVR 40 (Tivo) receiver will not work on this configuration.

Question:

I would like to put the DVR 40 receiver in the basement. Since the other TVs are powered off a single cable, can I somehow use the free LMB cable in combination with the cable used for the swicth to get two cables need for my DVR 40? Since I have access to the entry point of the cable, I was wondering if there is a way to split the single (pre new splitter) so I can tow cables for the older reveiver.

Thanks
