Hi all,

I have a problem with a report I've created - a colunmn will repeat on subsequent pages and there appears to be no way of turning it off. It has more than tripled the size of my report !!

What i have are survey questions (in a header) followed by the country's responses to these questions. There is an additional 'comments' field that can be long. When a country's response to a question happens to span more than a single page, the comments field starts all over again on the following page (i have the comments field associated to country). Anyways, the logic of the report is correct, but there is no way of 'force formatting' to prevent this column from repoeating ?!! This columnn happens to be a page long, whereas the rest of the answer is 2 lines. There is a ton of empty space, unacceptable to the client.

Anyone have any ideas on this one ???

cheers!

Steve

I presume that since you mention columns, that you are working in Excel... I don't suppose that in the Page Setup section, you have set a column to repeat?

Here's how to check: Click File then Page Setup then goto the Sheet tab. Is there anything in the "Columns to repeat at the left" field?
