Good morning all. I'm really moving along with OJT on the Call Manager. We finally got the ATA's I've been waiting for and now I need to get them in. I think (hope) I can figure them out but have a question. In our small locations an I assign the ATA with a DID number and build a regular phone with the same primary number? They want to use the ATA for a cordless phone. Also any helpful hints on ATA's would be welcomed.

Upgrade to ATA030203SCCP051201A.zup using the sata186us.exe upgrade available at the cisco web site. Afer upgraded program it as an ATA 186 type phone using the MAC, this programs the first line on the ATA, one the ATA pulls an IP simply go to address of phone then click on SCCP parameters under change configuration and change SID1 to be the MAC for your second device and you're good to go!
