When I run command "netstat -an" on win2000,one of the line of the output is:
Proto Local Address Foreign Address State
... ... ... ...
TCP 127.0.0.1:1029 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING

why 127.0.0.1 is listening?
Listening what?
how Can I kill it?

Good Question
127.0.0.1 is your loopback address in your IP stack.
That is the first address you would ping in trouble shoothing.
You can not get rid of it and it will always listen.
There is no danger to it and nobody else can get to it from another machine. It is local only..

Hope this Helps
